This workshop meets the shadow through the subversive traditions of carnival culture: irony, satire, parody, and the ancient theatrical delight of turning hierarchies upside down. Participants discover the back story of their own inner outcast: how it came to be, what it secretly wants, and what gifts it is quietly offering. In the safe, contained space of the workshop, we find the courage to bring forward what has been too hot to touch, and discover the joy — and the deep relief — of finally letting it speak.
